We will search for the places visited by King Kalākaua and reflect on what his thoughts may have been as a citizen of 1881. These are wahi pana, a ʻspecial placeʻ for that community, and we will discover why, and the significance to the people who live there and their own ʻSpirit of Alohaʻ.
